Courtney Loftus
Courtney Loftus is working in support of Wildlife Alliance's fundraising and communications while doing a degree in conservation studies from George Mason University. She formerly interned at Wildlife Alliance and developed fundraising concepts and outreach on elephant rescue and care, great apes, and wildlife rehabilitation and release. She has worked as an interpreter with Asian Elephants, hippos, capybara and other large mammals at the National Zoo; studied veterinary issues with seals and marine mammals at the Virginia Aquarium, Mystic Aquarium, and SeaWorld; and conducted fieldwork in the Peruvian Amazon.
