Our animals thrive on a natural diet, world class veterinary care, and the knowledge and support of expert staff who have designed a rehabilitation program so that some of the animals may one day be released back into the wild. Spacious enclosures at the rescue center have been built to encourage natural behavior and wherever possible members of the same species are paired and grouped together to encourage mating and familial bonding. For example, orphaned gibbons whose parents were killed are grouped with other orphans to form surrogate families.

As a sponsor, your donation will help ensure animals like Indochinese tigers and Asian elephants currently living at PTWRC continue to receive a proper diet, expert medical care and attention, and the hope of returning one day to the wild. In addition, you are ensuring the same benefits for future animals saved from the illegal wildlife trade by our Wildlife Rapid Rescue Team.
