CNN's Planet in Peril airs for Earth Day

In honor of Earth Day, CNN will rebroadcast its award-winning Anderson Cooper 360 special, Planet In Peril, in four, one-hour parts this Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 11 p.m. ET/8:00 p.m. PT.

This two-part, four-hour documentary crisscrossed the globe from Greenland to Madagascar, highlighting Wildlife Alliance’s wildlife protection work in Southeast Asia. Anderson Cooper, Jeff Corwin, and Sanjay Guptay described in vivid detail the environmental threats facing planet Earth – and the work by Wildlife Alliance and other brave conservation leaders to protect our fragile planet. Watch again as the CNN team and Wildlife Alliance’s Steve Galster investigate the illegal trade of exotic animals in Thailand’s street markets, and re-visit Chhouk, a young Asian elephant recovering from a poacher’s snare at Phnom Tamao Wildlife Rescue Center in Cambodia. See our rangers as they track one of the last Indochinese tigers in Bokor National Park, and learn how we are confronting an epidemic of poaching, illegal logging, and wildlife trafficking.
