Amy Van Nice

Amy Van Nice has traveled to 44 countries, was raised in Belgium, and lived in Japan, China, and Cambodia, where she worked as an English teacher. She speaks French, albeit rustily, Japanese, and intermediate Chinese. She holds an MA in International Relations from the University of Kent at Brussels, where she wrote her thesis on the wildlife trade, and a BA in Asian Studies, Political Science, and French from the University of Arizona. She is a certified Emergency Management Technician with a wide interests and career experience including training horses, teaching, political analysis, wildlife rehabilitation, recruiting/headhunting, and internships at NATO and the Center for Strategic and International Studies. Her passions are the wildlife trade, all things animal related/environmental, travel, languages, and making a difference.
