About

PeunPa, which means “Friends of the Wild,” is a Thai charitable organization dedicated to ending the illegal wildlife trade and protecting natural habitats. PeunPa is a partner of the Wildlife Alliance in Southeast Asia. We work throughout the region, raising public awareness and building local capacity to protect biodiversity.

PeunPa’s programs build conservation capacity in protected areas through improved park management, wildlife monitoring, ranger training and community outreach projects.

PeunPa works on the ground in Asia to assess nature protection priorities and the training needs of local personnel. We assist park rangers and law enforcement officers with training and technical support to improve their ability to stop wildlife poaching and trafficking and illegal logging.
