Here are a few of our tour guides you might recognize having a contemplative moment in Aerang tiger’s favorite hang out! We just happened to be passing by the tiger area when keeper Rong was inside the enclosure to clean. Any time any cleaning needs to be done the tigers are shifted into the back den area and the gate is closed. At no time does Rong (or anyone else) go into the enclosure with the tigers. They are beautiful no doubt, but they are not your average cat! We always operate with safety being a top priority for our keepers, our guides, and our guests. This was a great chance to get an inside glimpse into the life of a tiger and we couldn’t resist! It was also fun for Aerang, as he was very interested in all of those ‘people’ smells we left behind
